SpaceClaim 2009+ includes a new dedicated group for "beams" that enables CAE engineers to create and extract beams to be used during the analysis process. Not only does the new beam capability make concept design of beam and shell structures faster than ever before, SpaceClaim can reverse-engineer beam elements from imported CAD geometry.
